Terms and Conditions

1. PAYMENT TERMS & DEPOSIT

Deposit

A 33% deposit is required to reserve and confirm a shed build date.

A deposit is not required for:

  • Email or phone quotes

  • Site visits for the purpose of providing a quote

  • General questions or consultations

 

Important: Building, material preparation, scheduling, or confirmation of a construction date will not proceed until the required deposit has been received.

 

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due upon substantial completion of the shed and the final customer walk-through, unless otherwise stated in the written agreement.

 

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

2. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

If you need to cancel or reschedule your shed build, please notify Lion Constructed at least one (1) week in advance whenever possible.

Providing advance notice allows us the opportunity to adjust our construction schedule and minimize costs.

 

Special-Order Materials

If special-order, custom, or non-stock materials have already been ordered specifically for your project, those materials may not be refundable.

Please see the “Special Requests & Special-Order Items” section of your agreement for additional information.

 

Lion Constructed Cancellation

Lion Constructed reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a build before construction begins because of circumstances that may prevent us from safely or reasonably completing the project. Examples may include, but are not limited to:

  • Death or serious injury

  • Illness or sickness

  • Vehicle problems

  • Loss or failure of necessary equipment or tools

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Material or supply issues

  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

If Lion Constructed cancels a build before construction begins, we will either:

1. Provide a full refund of amounts paid that are legally refundable; or

2. Work with the customer to reschedule the build for a mutually acceptable date.

3. WARRANTY

Lion Constructed provides a 3-year workmanship warranty covering qualifying workmanship and structural issues resulting from Lion Constructed's construction or installation.

Examples of covered workmanship issues may include:

  • Structural integrity

  • Trim failures caused by workmanship

  • Door malfunctions caused by workmanship

  • Shelf failures caused by workmanship

  • Loft failures caused by workmanship

  • Ramp failures caused by workmanship

  • Other qualifying structural workmanship defects

 

Warranty coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of the complete Construction Agreement.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or problems caused by:

  • Accidental damage

  • Broken windows

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Customer modifications or alterations

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Neglect

  • Acts of nature

  • Damage caused by third parties

  • Failure to properly maintain the shed

  • Other conditions specifically excluded by the Construction Agreement

If a potential warranty issue arises, please contact Lion Constructed promptly so we can inspect the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer agrees to:

 

Permits & Approvals

Inform Lion Constructed of any permits, permit changes, approvals, HOA requirements, or other requirements that apply to the project and that are the customer's responsibility under the agreement.

 

Site Access

Provide reasonable access to the property and construction area on the scheduled build date.

 

Payment

Pay the remaining balance on the date the shed is substantially completed and the final walk-through has been performed.

 

Special-Order Items

Understand that special-order, custom, or non-stock items ordered specifically for the project may not be refundable.

 

Post-Construction Maintenance

Complete any customer responsibilities described in the agreement, including required caulking, painting, sealing, and routine maintenance.

5. BUILD DATES

Build dates are estimates and are subject to change because of weather, material availability, transportation issues, illness, equipment problems, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances outside Lion Constructed's reasonable control.

If a scheduled build date needs to change, Lion Constructed will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and will work with the customer to establish a new construction date.

6. LIEN RIGHTS & PAYMENT

The total agreed contract price includes the materials, labor, installation, and other costs specifically described in the written agreement.

Upon receipt of full payment of all amounts properly due under the contract, Lion Constructed will provide any applicable lien release or waiver required by law and applicable to the payment received.

Any lien waiver or release is effective only to the extent of the payment actually received and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Once the contract has been paid in full, the customer will have no further financial obligation to Lion Constructed for the contracted work, except for amounts arising from subsequently approved work, change orders, or other obligations specifically permitted under the agreement.

7. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing the Construction Agreement, placing a deposit, or otherwise proceeding with the booking of a Lion Constructed shed, the customer acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review, understand, and agree to the terms of the applicable Scope of Work and Service Agreement.

By signing below, the customer acknowledges:

☐ I understand that the remaining balance is due upon substantial completion and final walk-through.

☐ I understand that special-order, custom, or non-stock items may not be refundable.

☐ I understand that build dates are subject to change.

☐ I understand my responsibilities regarding permits and approvals.

☐ I understand the terms and limitations of the 3-year workmanship warranty.

☐ I understand my responsibilities regarding caulking, painting, sealing, and maintenance.

☐ I have had an opportunity to ask questions regarding the agreement before proceeding.

☐ I agree to the terms and conditions of the Lion Constructed Scope of Work and Service Agreement.
